Meet Peter Lopez, MCJ grad & rocking digital content producer at KMPH

Peter Lopez graduated from Fresno State's MCJ department in Spring 2021 with a Print/Digital specialty. Right out of college, he landed a job as a digital content producer in Fresno with KMPH-TV. I was lucky enough to have Peter in a number of my classes and he was awesome enough to talk with our students in MCJ 14 (multiplatform/mobile journalism) during our ongoing virtual pandemic endeavors.

Among other things, we discuss the transition from student journalism to the professional realm and some of the differences between working in a print newsroom versus working in a broadcast facility.
